This programme is aimed at people wanting to increase their fitness at their own pace while in a social environment.

Sport Ireland has today published two guidance documents to support the return to sport by older adults and people with disabilities.
Covid-19 has presented significant barriers to participating in sport and physical activity and these guidelines aim to aid a safe and inclusive return to sport.
The guidelines have been prepared with the support of Age & Opportunity and CARA Centre who have conducted extensive consultation within their sectors.

𝙉𝙚𝙬 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢𝙢𝙚

Along with Swim Ireland we are delighted to offer this Open Water Skills programme.

This is an 8-week programme for adult swimmers who are new to the Open Water setting, aiming to develop their confidence, swim ability and skills in the open water with the goal of swimming 1500 metres at the end of the 8 weeks.

The programme costs €25 and starts on Wednesday the 29th July and will take place once a week for 8 weeks. You will need a wetsuit!

Please ensure to read through the Safety Protocols before attending the programme.

There is 2 time slots available and these will be filled on a first come basis.
