Learn To Cycle

Learn to Cycle

There are many benefits to cycling as a sport or physical activity. It is a very suitable way for children with disabilities to be physically active and healthy. As well as the health benefits, learning to cycle also gives children with disabilities the feeling of freedom and the opportunity to integrate with other children as a way of socialising.

Roscommon Sports Partnership has a dedicated fleet of bicycles to suit any ability including tandem bikes and trikes. Our 'Learn to Cycle' programme for children with disabilities is regularly held throughout the year and is delivered over 4 weeks. It allows for one to one tuition with a qualified tutor and sessions last 30 minutes per child.
