INTRODUCTION TO MOUNTAIN BIKING
Skills workshop to introduce children and adults to trail and mountain biking.
Location: Lough Key Forest Park, Boyle
Time: 10:00am – 1:00pm

PICK YOU UP ON YOUR WAY ROUND (looped 5-10km cycle)
Aimed at children and families and will be done in conjunction with local cycling clubs and schools.
Location: 2 Rural Areas

CYCLE TO THE PARK (Boyle)
Leisurely day out in Lough Key Forest Park, Boyle.
Location: Meeting in the Church Car Park, Boyle, Co. Roscommon.

GETTING THE MOST OUT OF CYCLING
Geared towards adults who are returning to cycling as a physical or leisure activity or those who wish to take up cycling as a new activity.

CYCLE TO SCHOOL DAY
This event aims to encourage as many teachers and children in the County as possible to Cycle to School on this day as part of Bike Week 2014.
Prizes on offer for schools with most participants.

Thursday 19th June
OPEN TIME TRIAL COMPETITION
Held in conjunction with local cycling clubs.
Prizes for the fastest time over a 10 mile course.

Friday 20th June
THE “HIGH NELLY” 10km CYCLE
A vintage cycle and display for the public to come along and view vintage bikes on display and to take part in the 10km cycle.
Location: The Square, Roscommon Town

Saturday 21st June
Gearing Up Off-Road
Trail cycling in association with Cycling Ireland. Mountain bikes and helmets available at discount price of €10 to hire for the day if needed.
Cost: €40 includes lunch in the Lakeside Cafe and Gearing Up Off-Road Manual.
