The Kilmovee 10k has become a major event in the calendar of both Kilmovee Shamrocks and the Mayo Roscommon Hospice. 2013 seen record crowds descend on Kilmovee for what was truly a special day.
The 2014 race is shaping up to have another record turn out, no doubt numbers will be boosted by the fact Gerry Duffy one of the worlds leading endurance athletes has gave a commitment to join the race on the day. The Kilmovee 10K is also the first race in the new Mayo Ac Move to improve race series so a quality field is assured
The race will start in Kilmovee, at the GAA pitch 19th Apr 2014. At 1:00 pm. There will be a race clock and chip-timing all runners. The Kilmovee 10k will be open to runners, joggers and walkers.

There are race T Shirts for the first 500 registered. Post race refreshments and prize-giving will take place in Kilmovee community centre. This race has raised over €28000 for the Mayo Roscommon Hospice. We hope to increase our numbers this year so if you have already been to Kilmovee and experienced the friendly atmosphere please bring a friend this year. We appreciate all the support we received the last number of years and hope to grow this event year on year.
