Tthe two nearest regional workshops will take place at the Athlone Institute of Technology on Tuesday, February 7th, from 7 pm to 9 pm, while another workshop will take place at the Sligo Regional Sports Centre on Monday, February 13th , also from 7 pm to 9 pm.
In partnership with local Sports Partnerships, the Department is organising these workshops to assist and guide those completing their applications for a Sports Capital Grant. These workshops will provide a very good opportunity for clubs and organisations to avail of free expert advice.
Once the booking is made, you will receive a booking confirmation email and you should bring this with you to the event.
Further details on the 2017 Sports Capital Grant Programme can be accessed at www.sportscapitalprogramme.ie and from next Monday, January 23rd, the Department will be accepting completed applications.
“The deadline for applications is 5pm on Friday, February 24th but you must register online first to apply if you have not done so. The deadline for registration is 5pm on Friday, February 10th.
“This year, €30m is available to develop sports infrastructure around the country and I want to see local clubs and organisations benefit as much as possible from this funding.”
