Re: The €100 Million Finance Fund Available to Clubs and Local Projects
Community Finance (Ireland), part of the wider UCIT Group, is a Community Based Organisation providing loan finance to other communities across Ireland. Over 15 years, we’ve invested over €70 million in groups like yours, in every province on the island. We have €100m more to lend via our Social Finance Fund. (www.communityfinance.ie / www.sff.ie )
Here’s an example of a group who have already accessed this fund:
“We were very happy to deal with Community Finance (Ireland), which we found very straightforward. The staff were excellent. The funding enabled us to complete a state of the art car park which facilitated both the users of our centre and the wider community.”
(Matthew Kilduff - Chairperson – Ardagh Community Centre Trust)
Community Finance (Ireland) understands that despite fewer grants, and restricted access to bank finance, there remains the need to improve or develop community infrastructure.
We are hosting a FREE session entitled “How to Access Social Finance (A Step by Step Guide for Voluntary Groups)”. The event covers all the basic elements of what an investor looks for when assessing funding applications. The session is low on jargon and assumes your group may never have had to access repayable finance before.
It will take place in The Abbey Hotel, Roscommon, on Wednesday 28th October, 2015 at 7.30pm. Please feel free to forward this information to others whom you believe may be interested.
If you are interested, please confirm attendance by either emailing email@example.com or phoning Community Finance (Ireland) on 041-6858637 for information on or before the 26th September.
